The Downeast Business Association is a dedicated  group of business owners, entrepreneurs, and innovators in Hancock County, Maine who come together to network, problem solve, learn, support one another, and offer referrals.


What We Do

Networking & Referrals

We bring together a community of small businesses to collaborate and refer business to one another. We offer free Networking Meetings, open to any regional businesses, owners, or entrepreneurs.

Professional Development

We work to grow and sustain our businesses. DBA Members receive access to  monthly professional / business development trainings on topics we select as a group. 
Past topics include: best HR practices, tax laws, organizational management software, and more!

Support & Problem Solving

Our members are sounding boards for one another. In our weekly meetings we create space to voice challenges, collect feedback and support, generate ideas, and refine our pitches.

A Little Extra Fun

From time to time we also find time for a little extracurricular fun!

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

Business professionals and entrepreneurs from the public are welcome at our free networking meetings which take place on the third Friday of each month, Sept - May.
For a annual fee of $50.00, Full Members also receive:
Monthly professional development trainings
Business promotion through our website and social media
Weekly collaboration meetings

We know times are tough. Join as a Full Member for three months for free!

Interested?

We meet weekly on Friday mornings, Sept – May, 7:45  – 8:45 am. During these times of COVID we are meeting virtually via Zoom, but normally meet at the Somesville Library on MDI.

We are open to the public during our Networking Meetings on the 3rd Friday of the month, Sept. – May

RSVPs for networking meetings are helpful but not required.
