Meeting at the Somesville Library, Mount Desert, Maine
Who We Are
The Downeast Business Association is a dedicated group of business owners, entrepreneurs, and innovators in Hancock County, Maine who come together to network, problem solve, learn, support one another, and offer referrals.
What We Do
Networking & Referrals
We bring together a community of small businesses to collaborate and refer business to one another. We offer free networking meetings on the third Friday of each month, open to any regional businesses, owners, or entrepreneurs who are interested.
We work together to help grow and sustain our businesses. Members of DBA are able to attend monthly professional/business development trainings on topics they have chosen. Past topics include: best HR practices, tax laws, organizational management software, and more!
Support & Problem Solving
Our members are there for one another. In our weekly meetings we create space to voice challenges and have a sounding board of support, idea generation, and feedback.
A Little Extra
From kayaking and hikes in the summer to dinner downtown, we also offer a little extracurricular fun.
Come to one of our open networking meetings on the 3rd Friday of the month,
Sept – May, 7:45 – 8:45 am, at the Somesville Library.
RSVPs helpful but not required.
